with Peter Delves We are really pleased that Peter Delves is coming along to introduce us to EFT ( Emotional Freedom Techniques) to learn about its effectiveness and also to give it a go ! EFT can help with many aspects of dealing with changes in our lives and it feels like it could be useful when dealing with the impact of hearing loss too. Peter tells us that EFT has its roots in acupuncture , kinesology & psychology. Its use is spreading rapidly in the UK & is starting to be used in some specialist areas of the NHS. A clip can be seen on BBC Midlands Today if you click on the link but remember to put on the auto captions if you need subtitles youtu.be/4lb9CMFApdg Peter has a private practice in Kenilworth having left a successful career in Human Resources and has become a national trainer in EFT & has delivered courses through the UK and Europe. After learning meditation he discovered hypnotherapy , qualified & set up his own practice in 1990. We feel honoured that he has found the time to come along to our Coffee Morning. You can find out more by visiting his website at delves.co.uk Please let us know if you are coming by emailing us. This will ensure that we have enough refreshments! We have a Phonak system that attendees can use to ‘listen’ to the speaker at future coffee mornings which will make it more accessible. We would like to thank the Kenilworth Forum for their contribution towards the funding needed to purchase the system. All our events are now pre-booked at the Kenilworth Centre in Abbey End North (access is from the Abbey End car park) CV8 1QJ between 11am to 1pm. A £3 donation towards the cost of the room & tea/coffee provided is appreciated. We do hope you can join us and if you would like to bring a partner or friend, they will be very welcome. Please let us know if you are coming by sending us a quick email |
