![]() CELST, the charity, is a voluntary (not for profit) charity whose prime objective is to raise funding to sustain lipreading classes and expand them where it is possible. We are pleased to announce that we have been able to expand the number of courses we are running into more locations. Please check details below. Our Lipreading and Managing Hearing Loss Courses are temporarily postponed due to the Coronavirus. Our previous courses took place at the following locations and days/times. We hope to be in a position to keep all these courses running when we restart our courses in 2021. Our Courses are taking place as follows:
Our Courses are FREE, but we ask for a donation of up to £25 per term from those who feel able to make a contribution. CELST are pleased to confirm that we will once again be running a course in Lipreading and Managing Hearing Loss in Bulkington, details as above. This Course is for people from Bedworth, Bulkington and surrounding villages and is funded by Bedworth Lions. Get in touch if you would like further information. We are pleased to announce the introductory course in Selly Oak is being extended into 2020 until June. We are pleased to confirm that our course at the Balsall Common Village Hall, which had to be postponed in the Autumn term 2019, will now commence on Wednesday mornings from 15th January 2020. Celst is not only committed to improving the communication skills of people with hearing loss, we would also like to improve the skills of the hearing public when communicating with people with hearing loss.
